Lockdown Special Trains: There is big news for people trapped in different states due to lockdown in the country due to epidemic. No tickets being sold at any station. The central government started Shramik Special Trains. Those who want to travel on these Shramik Special trains can check special train list details. However, lockdown migrant special train details will provide by the Nodal officers.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted that thanks to PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for allowing the citizens stranded in various parts of the country to be sent by the railways due to the lockdown. The Railways will run ‘Shramik Special Train’ to ensure that people away from home reach their destination. People can also get the list of Today and Tomorrow Train list here.

Shramik Special trains will help to move migrant workers, pilgrims, tourists, students and other persons stranded at different places due to lockdown. These Shramik special trains will be run from point to point on the request of both the concerned State Governments.

Shramik Special Train Booking Procedure

The Indian railway has today started Shramik special train. Migrant Passenger can’t book this special train ticket on www.irctc.co.in. The Nodal officer will notify you after online registration at your state official website. However, we will constantly update this page. We will share how anyone can book tickets on Shramik Special train along with full information including all special train numbers soon.

If you are a migrant of Bihar then you have to contact Nodal officer. When you call the Nodal officer then they will notify you about your train route and time table of the train. There is no online reservation system has been started yet.

Only a healthy person will get permission to travel on Shramik Express Special

Railways and state governments will appoint senior officers as nodal officers for coordination and smooth running of these lockdown special trains. Before boarding these trains. Only those found to be healthy will be allowed to travel. Today on 01 May 2020 only 6 lockdowns special train run. According to India railways in upcoming days more Shramik express will run & their time table, route, the schedule will available online as soon as possible.

It has also been decided that it will be mandatory for every passenger to wear a face mask on Shramik Express. Food and drinking water will be provided to such passengers by the govt. The railway will provide only one meal during the long train journey. While on arrival at the destination, the state government will be responsible for providing their food and other facilities.
